Pastoral Appointments

Pastoral Appointments – May 7, 2024 

Most Rev. Guy Desrochers, C.Ss.R., announces the following pastoral appointments which take effect immediately: 

Fr. Angus Johnston is appointed Episcopal Vicar and Dean of the English Deanery, which include all English parishes of our Archdiocese.

Fr. Wislais Simervil is appointed Dean of the South Francophone Deanery. He is also appointed Moderator of the Curia.

Fr. Jean Bélisle, C.Ss.R. is appointed Dean of the North Francophone Deanery.

Mr. Clarence Robichaud is appointed Master of Ceremonies for diocesan celebrations held at the Cathedral.

Mr. Claude Labranche is appointed Master of Ceremonies for confirmations presided over by the Archbishop.
