Feast of Mary, Our Lady's Assumption

• This year, the feast of Our Lady of the Assumption falls on a Saturday. Our Lady of the Assumption is the patron saint of the archdiocese of Moncton in addition to being the patron of all Acadians. Because of the continuing situation of COVID-19 and all the restrictions mandated by NB Public health, the Most Reverend Archbishop Vienneau permits and encourages that the liturgy of the feast of the Assumption be celebrated at all  Sunday Masses on August 15 and 16 in all parishes of the archdiocese.
